Terms of service

The ground rules for using AccessibleAgenda, written to be read in one sitting.

Last updated: October 28, 2026

Who we are

AccessibleAgenda is a service of Left Hand Holdings, LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company (“we” or “us”). These terms apply to the organization that signs up (“you”) and to everyone who uses the service on its behalf. By creating an account or sending us a document, you agree to them.

The service

You send us PDF documents, usually agendas, minutes and meeting packets. We return an accessible web page, a tagged PDF and a short report of what we checked and changed. We aim to return every file within one business day and usually do so in minutes, but turnaround times are targets, not guarantees.

Your account and senders

You are responsible for who can send documents from your account. Only addresses you approve can submit files, and anything sent from an unknown address is held until you approve it. Tell us right away if you think someone is using your account without permission.

Your documents

You keep all rights to the documents you send and the files we return. You give us permission to store, process and convert them only as needed to provide the service. We reproduce your documents as published. We do not edit wording, names, dates, numbers or legal language. The only text changes are obvious scanning errors, and each one is listed in the report.

Send only documents you have the right to share. Do not send records that are confidential or contain sensitive personal information, such as Social Security numbers, medical information or closed-session material.

Accessibility and legal responsibility

We build files to the WCAG 2.1 Level AA technical standard, and our PDFs pass automated PDF/UA checks. Automated checks do not cover everything, so please review files before you post them. We do not provide legal advice and do not guarantee legal compliance. Your organization remains responsible for its own accessibility obligations.

Plans, billing and cancellation

  • The Unlimited plan is $99 a month or $990 a year. Current prices are always on our pricing page.
  • Each organization can process its first 3 documents free, with no card required. One free trial per organization; we may decline or close duplicate accounts.
  • Monthly plans renew each month and yearly plans renew each year until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from your account or by emailing us. Service continues through the end of the period you have paid for, and we do not give partial refunds unless the law requires it.
  • Yearly invoices are due 30 days after the invoice date and are paid online through Stripe by card.
  • You are responsible for any taxes that apply. If your organization is tax-exempt, send your exemption certificate to billing@accessibleagenda.com.

What unlimited means

Unlimited covers every document your own organization posts, with no page counts or overage fees. It does not cover processing documents for other organizations, reselling the service, or automated bulk conversion of archives that are unrelated to your regular posting. If usage looks like any of these, we will contact you before taking any action.

Acceptable use

Do not use the service to break the law, send malware, try to access other customers’ data, overload or probe our systems, or get around limits on the free checker.

Government customers

If a term here conflicts with a law that binds your public entity, such as public records, procurement, appropriations or indemnity limits, that term applies only as far as the law allows. If the funds for a renewal are not appropriated, you may end the subscription at the end of the period that has been paid for, without penalty.

Changes to the service and these terms

We improve the service over time. If we make a change to these terms that materially affects you, we will email the account owner at least 30 days before it takes effect.

Suspension and termination

We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or goes unpaid, after notice and a chance to fix the problem, except where immediate action is needed to protect the service or other customers. You may stop using the service at any time.

Warranty disclaimer and limitation of liability

We provide the service with care, but otherwise “as is,” without warranties beyond those stated in these terms. To the extent the law allows, neither party is liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

Data retention and privacy

How long we keep files and records, and which service providers help us run the service, is explained in our privacy policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Wyoming, except where a government customer is required by law to apply the law of its own state.
